Ms. Hannonis currently senior vice president for healthcare operations at Baystate Health in Springfield and chief operating officer of its flagship hospital, 625-bed Baystate Medical Center.
New England Baptist’s previous CEO, Joseph D. Dionisio, resigned in Aug. 2008 for personal reasons that weren’t disclosed and Helen R. Strieder, former chairwoman of the board of trustees, has been serving as interim CEO.
