Mr. Thorsen said his biggest challenge is recruiting physicians, although the hospital has managed recently to recruit an orthopedic surgeon, general surgeon, two pediatricians and a physiatrist.
Mr. Thorsen said having four months of transition time to work with the former CEO was a great benefit.
