Gothenburg (Neb.) Health, a critical access hospital and rural health clinic, has a new top leader after two executives were placed on administrative leave, a spokesperson confirmed to Becker’s.
Roxanne Converse-Whiting, director of community education, said CEO Mick Brant and COO Tinna Therrien, BSN, RN, were placed on administrative leave by the hospital board on May 21 at its meeting.
“The hospital has no official comment regarding the circumstances,” Ms. Converse-Whiting added. CFO Andrew Knust is the interim CEO.
Also at the May 21 meeting, the board voted to engage the Baird Holm Law firm to investigate personnel matters and approved the hospital’s quality report, according to the Gothenburg Leader.
Ms. Converse-Whiting said the board meeting is a public meeting, and the minutes will be available after they are approved at the next board meeting on June 25.
