John Pohlman, the hospital’s senior vice president and CFO, will assume the additional role of COO, according to an Aug. 29 news release shared with Becker’s. Mr. Pohlman will oversee day-to-day operations of the hospital. He succeeds Bill Allison, who retired.
Ken Long, senior vice president for administration, will assume the additional role of chief clinical integration officer. Mr. Long will oversee service line strategic planning, program expansions, volume growth, and help with the hospital’s ongoing integration with New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System. He joined Mount Sinai South Nassau in 2015.
