Montage Health Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Matt Morgan will depart the Monterey, Calif.-based system in August, Monterey County Now reported June 26.
Mr. Morgan is taking a role at an unnamed health system in California, according to the report. His last day at Montage Health is Aug. 7.
The system said it is committed to ensuring a “smooth and thoughtful transition” and will announce details about the search for his replacement in the coming weeks, according to the report.
Mr. Morgan is departing Montage after 19 years with the health system.
“This was not an easy choice,” Mr. Morgan said in an internal message to employees, according to the report. “Montage has been more than just a workplace for me — it’s been a community, a calling, and a place where I’ve grown in ways I never could have imagined.”
