Brenda Carroll, MSN, RN, has been named the chief nursing officer of Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Ms. Carroll joins the system from Ascension Via Christi St. Teresa Hospital in Wichita, Kan., where she had been vice president of nursing since 2016.
Her appointment to the role is effective immediately.
