Mississippi hospital names COO

Brooks Rizzo, MSN, RN, has been appointed COO of North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville, Miss.

Ms. Rizzo is also president-elect of the Medical Group Management Association of Mississippi, according to a Feb. 25 Facebook post from the hospital.

She joined North Sunflower Medical Center in 2006 as a clinic registered nurse and has been with the organization for two decades. She later served as clinical director and, most recently, chief clinical officer, a role she has held since August 2024, according to her LinkedIn profile.

North Sunflower Medical Center employs about 500 people and includes a 25-bed acute care unit, a 60-bed skilled nursing facility, a 19-bed senior care unit and an emergency room.
