Michigan Medicine names 1st chief digital and information officer

Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine has named Anika Gardenhire, RN, its first chief digital and information officer.

In the role, Ms. Gardenhire will oversee IT strategy and operations, including implementation of the health system’s multiyear information technology plan, according to a Jan. 29 news release.

She previously served as chief digital and transformation officer at Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health.
