Dean Mazzoni was appointed president and CEO of McLaren Greater Lansing (Mich.), effective March 16, according to a Feb. 4 hospital news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Mazzoni joins the hospital from Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Alliance, a 12-hospital, multistate, nonprofit Catholic health system in the Midwest. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Franciscan Health Michigan City (Ind.) and Franciscan Health Michigan City at La Porte (Ind.), as well as LaPorte County supporting clinics. He also took on the president and CEO role at Franciscan Alliance’s new facility under construction in Porter County, along with other Porter County facilities.
McLaren Greater Lansing, a 240-bed tertiary teaching hospital in Lansing, Mich., is part of Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care.
