MetroSouth Medical Center CEO Dr. Enrique Beckmann to Resign

MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, Ill., announced that its CEO, Enrique Beckmann, MD, is resigning July 26, according to a Crain’s Chicago Business report.

Dr. Beckmann, a pathologist, is stepping down to focus on consulting and developing a national presence for his pathology group — Pathology Associates of Chicago.

Dr. Beckmann was named CEO of MetroSouth in 2009, according to the report.
