Mr. Asic will take over responsibilities for staffing and operations for the new hospital, for which he has served as project manager, according to an April 20 press release shared with Becker’s. The new $200 million hospital’s construction is still underway and is set to be completed in late 2023.
Mr. Asic most recently served as interim president and COO of West Hospital in Cincinnati and will continue in these positions until a replacement is found.
“Jason has consistently stepped up to take on challenging roles and responsibilities and has excelled each and every time,” said Dave Fikse, president of Mercy Health Cincinnati in the release. “I’m pleased that he has agreed to lead our newest hospital, which he knows from the ground up, and I have every confidence in his ability to do so successfully.”
He will assume the role May 5.
