Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines (Iowa) has named Wael Haidar, MD, MBA, chief physician executive, and Tommy Ibrahim, MD, MHA, chief physician officer.
As chief physician executive, Dr. Haidar will oversee strategic direction and organization of the hospital's physician network.
Dr. Ibrahim's duties as chief physician officer include overseeing clinical quality initiatives and physician engagement.
