Katherine Wong has been named CFO of Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, both in Hollywood, Fla.
Ms. Wong brings more than two decades of industry experience to the hospitals owned by Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System, according to a March 30 news release shared with Becker’s.
She previously served as CFO of Pembroke Pines, Fla.-based Memorial Hospital West, a position she held since 2023, according to the release.
Prior to joining Memorial Healthcare, Ms. Wong served as CFO of Tamiami-based HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
Ms. Wong becomes CFO of Memorial Regional as the 863-bed facility is undergoing a $670 million expansion project, according to the release. The project includes a surgical and patient bed tower that will add 22 operating rooms and 150 additional acuity-adaptable beds.
