Memorial Hospital and Manor selects new CEO: 5 things to know

Bainbridge, Ga.-based Memorial Hospital and Manor, owned and operated by the Hospital Authority of the City of Bainbridge and Decatur County, appointed James M. Lambert CEO, effective Nov. 27.

Here are five things to know:

1. Mr. Lambert most recently served as president of the Arkansas Health Alliance, a joint venture formed by Little Rock, Ark.-based CHI St. Vincent Health and Conway (Ark.) Regional Health System.

2. He previously served as president and CEO of Conway Regional Health System.

3. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. He holds a master’s degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

5. Memorial Hospital and Manor includes an 80-bed community hospital, 107-bed long-term care facility and a 22-bed personal care facility.
