Gelareh Zadeh, MD, PhD, has been appointed the David C. and Flora C. Pratt Distinguished Chief Medical Officer of Mayo Clinic Platform.
Dr. Zadeh will direct clinical strategy and collaborations to propel innovation at Mayo Clinic Platform, the digital health arm of the Rochester, Minn.-based health system, according to a Jan. 17 LinkedIn post.
She also serves as the William J. and Charles H. Mayo Professor I and chair and professor of neurosurgery at Mayo Clinic, and has been recognized internationally for furthering brain tumor research.
