A pediatrician by training, Dr. Linton helped establish Mayo Clinic Health System in northwest Wisconsin. He practiced for more than 20 years. Mayo Clinic will likely name his successor in January 2017, and Dr. Linton will help ensure a smooth transition until April.

He leaves northwest Wisconsin well-positioned for his successor, and we thank him for his many years of outstanding service.”
