Massachusetts hospital taps chief medical officer

Providence, R.I.-based Brown University Health has named Ashish Misri, MD, chief medical officer of its Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, Mass.

Dr. Misri will assume the role Jan. 4, according to a Dec. 11 news release from the health system. In addition to serving as CMO of the 196-bed hospital, he will continue as associate director of hospital medicine and a practicing hospitalist at Rhode Island Hospital, a 719-bed facility in Providence.
