Joseph Ross Named CEO of Maryland’s Meritus Health

Joseph P. Ross, FACHE, has been named president and CEO of Meritus Health in Hagerstown, Md., according to a Meritus news release.

Most recently, Mr. Ross served as president and CEO of Shore Health System of Maryland in Easton. Mr. Ross will succeed James P. Hamill, who plans to retire this year. Mr. Ross’ position is effective April 4.

Meritus is the parent of Meritus Medical Center, a 278-bed hospital also located in Hagerstown.
