She replaces Alan Newberry, who retired after 35 years in the health industry, including 16 years at Peninsula.
Ms. Naleppa joined Peninsula in 2003 as executive vice president and chief operating officer. She began her administrative career as director of neurosurgical services at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
