Dave Lehr was promoted from chief strategy officer to chief administrative officer and chief innovation officer at Hagerstown, Md.-based Meritus Health, a regional health system serving parts of Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
In his new role, Mr. Lehr will oversee strategic planning, operations and innovation efforts across the organization, according to a June 8 health system news release.
Mr. Lehr has helped lead several growth initiatives at Meritus, including the expansion of Meritus Medical Group and the development of the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine, which opened in 2025, according to the release. He has also overseen sustainability projects involving renewable energy and microgrid technology.
