Mr. King is currently executive director at University of Michigan Health System’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital, both located in Ann Arbor. He has led the hospitals since 2013, prior to which he was president and CEO for the Pediatric Management Group, a pediatric subspecialty group practice affiliated with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Mr. King serves on several boards, including the Children’s Hospital Association and the American Hospital Association’s Maternal & Child Health Council. He holds a master’s degree in health administration from University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Mr. King is the permanent successor to Christopher Dawes, who stepped down from the post in March due to health issues.
