Loyola University Medical Center taps Dr. Joshua Lee to serve as CMO

Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill., appointed Joshua Lee, MD, CMO. He succeeds Chad Whelan, MD, who is taking on the role of LUMC president.

Dr. Lee has worked at the medical center since 2016, when he joined as vice president and chief health information officer. He previously served as chief information officer at University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles as well as medical director of the USC Care Faculty Medical Group. He also served as chief medical information officer at UC San Diego Health.

Dr. Lee, an internist, provides care at Loyola’s Center for Care at North Riverside (Ill.). He is an associate professor in the department of medicine at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. He also held appointments at Dartmouth’s medical school in Hanover, N.H., and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
