Los Alamitos (Calif.) Medical Center hired Hong Min as its new COO.

Here are three points:

1. Mr. Min most recently served as assistant medical center administrator-quality at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City, Calif.

2. He holds a master’s degree in health policy and management from Harvard School of Public Health in Boston.

3. Los Alamitos Medical Center is a 167-bed, acute-care facility, and it includes an ASC, 24-hour emergency care as well as cancer, imaging, infusion and orthopedic centers.
