Todd Krass has retired as CEO of Belton (Mo.) Regional Medical Center after more than 20 years leading the hospital and more than 40 years in healthcare, according to a Feb. 27 news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Krass, a psychiatric nurse by training, had served as CEO since 2005.
During his tenure, the 85-bed hospital added key physician specialties, opened a new intensive care unit and expanded emergency services, the release said. He was also active in community organizations, chambers of commerce and health-focused foundations, including previously serving as chair of the American Heart Association Kansas City Heart Walk.
“Serving as CEO of Belton Regional Medical Center for the past 20 years has been the greatest privilege of my career,” Mr. Krass said in the release. “I am deeply grateful to the physicians, nurses and colleagues who care for our neighbors every day, and to the patients and families who place their confidence in us during life’s most vulnerable moments.”
Belton Regional Medical Center is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
