In his new role, Dr. Wassef aims to continue the center’s mission to improve patient care. He also plans to encourage the use of MAKOplasty robotic-assisted replacement surgery for hip and knee replacements at Long Beach Memorial.
Dr. Wassef is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and he has completed his fellowship at the Joint Replacement Institute in Los Angeles.
