Kathy Vancampen was appointed CEO and market president of Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, Ky., and Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Ky.
Ms. Vancampen will assume her new responsibilities April 7, according to a hospital news release. They include overseeing Fleming County Hospital’s conversion to a “rural emergency hospital,” a Medicare designation that became available in 2023. Inpatient services will shift to Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Most recently, Ms. Vancampen was facility vice president of operations at Louisville, Ky.-based Norton Healthcare.
Fleming County Hospital and Meadowview Regional Medical Center are part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Healthcare.
