LifePoint Health appoints 1st-ever Western Arizona market president: 6 things to know

Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health named Mike Patterson market president in Western Arizona, a newly created role, effective April 1.

Here are six things to know:

1. Mr. Patterson is CEO of Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

2. He will continue in his current role while taking on additional oversight of Valley View Regional Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Ariz. Feliciano Jiron, CEO of Valley View Regional, will continue in his role, reporting to Mr. Patterson on regional issues.

3. Mr. Patterson became CEO of Havasu Regional in 2014.

4. He previously served as CFO, and later, CEO of Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan, another LifePoint Health facility.

5. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives

6. Mr. Patterson holds an MBA from Utah State University in Logan.
