Lehigh Valley Health Network names William Reppy president of the new Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill

Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network named William Reppy president of the newly created Pottsville, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill. Lehigh Valley Health Network and Pottsville, Pa.-based Schuylkill Health completed their merger Sept. 16, and Schuylkill Health was renamed Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill.

Mr. Reppy most recently served as vice president of operations and chief safety officer at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Hazleton (Pa.). Prior to that, Mr. Reppy served as the county administrator/chief administrative officer for Schuylkill County. In his new role, he will oversee Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill, which includes Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill S. Jackson Street and Lehigh Valley Hospital–Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street, both in Pottsville.

Marc H. Lory, who was appointed interim president and CEO of Schuylkill Health in October 2014, will serve as a consultant to Mr. Reppy until October 2016.
