Melonie Lagalante has been appointed COO of Lakeview Hospital in Covington, La.
Ms. Lagalante brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience spanning regional health systems, physician enterprises and large-scale outpatient operations, according to a Dec. 1 LinkedIn post from the hospital.
She most recently served as assistant vice president of diagnostic and outpatient services at Covington-based St. Tammany Health System, where she led initiatives aimed at improving operations, expanding access and enhancing care experiences.
At Lakeview Hospital, she will oversee daily operations and work closely with executive and medical leadership to support system growth and strategic partnerships. Her career has included directing development of outpatient projects, leading service line improvements and cultivating partnerships to support staff engagement and service expansion.
Lakeview Hospital is part of New Orleans-based LCMC Health.
