Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital selects new CEO

Jayne Van Bramer has been selected to serve as CEO of Lancaster (Pa.) Behavioral Health Hospital, which is still under construction and set to open in summer 2018.

Ms. Van Bramer comes to Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine from Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pa., where she was vice president of behavioral health. During her career, she also served as senior associate commissioner for child and adult state operations for the New York State Office of Mental Health in Albany.

Ms. Van Bramer holds a master’s of arts degree in psychology from the State University of New York College at Oswego, as well as a master’s of arts degree in applied research and evaluation from Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.

The Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital will be a 126-bed facility, providing expanded access to inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment.
