Kindred Healthcare Names Benjamin Breier as New COO

Kindred Healthcare has named Benjamin A. Breier, currently president of its hospital division, as its new COO, according to a release by Kindred.

Mr. Breier replaces Frank J. Battafarano, who assumed the post in March 2008 and is now leaving the company.

The company said the change would take place when a new hospital division president is named.
