Mr. Hayward currently serves as the executive director of Solano Coalition for Better Health. He will succeed former CEO Carol Sorrell, who resigned in June.
KHS is an independent taxpayer-funded insurance agency created by the county and consists of approximately 180 employees. KHS is similar to an HMO in that it manages healthcare through a network of providers for Medi-Cal recipients.
