Jennifer Liter, DNP, RN, has been appointed CEO of Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Ky., after holding the role on an interim basis since March.
Dr. Liter began her career at the hospital as a volunteer candy striper at age 14, later working as a medical assistant and licensed practical nurse, according to a May 28 hospital news release.
She rejoined Carroll County Memorial in 2023 as director of nursing, where she has helped improve clinical outcomes, patient experience and staff turnover, the release said.
Dr. Liter brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience to the role. She previously served as vice president and chief nursing officer at Norton King’s Daughters’ Health in Madison, Ind., from 2016 to 2023, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Carroll County Memorial Hospital is a partner of Louisville, Ky.-based UofL Health.
