Bonnie Panlasigui was appointed senior vice president and area manager for the Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Service Area, according to an April 8 news release shared with Becker’s.
In her role, Ms. Panlasigui serves in a market president/area health plan executive function for the service area, which includes Santa Clara (Calif.) Medical Center.
She oversees more than 6,500 employees and is responsible for hospital operations and the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan for the area, according to the release.
Before joining Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, Ms. Panlasigui served as the first president of Summa Health System Hospitals in Akron, Ohio.
