Cortney Eisses, BSN, RN, was appointed regional president of Kaiser Permanente in Colorado.
Ms. Eisses has led the region on an interim basis since February and has worked to expand Kaiser Permanente’s presence in the state, according to an Aug. 11 health system news release. She joined the organization in 2003 and has held nursing and leadership roles in Colorado throughout her career, including vice president of hospital and post-acute care in 2022.
She steps into the role as Kaiser Permanente continues investing in Colorado through new medical offices, an expanded hospital network and additional care options, the release said.
“Cortney’s extensive experience across care delivery and operations, combined with her unwavering commitment to our members, patients, and communities, makes her exceptionally well-positioned to lead Kaiser Permanente in Colorado,” Craig Albanese, MD, president of integrated care and coverage, said in the release. “She is an accomplished leader who will continue advancing high-quality, affordable care and an exceptional care experience for those we serve.”
Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, founded in 1945, serves 12.9 million members in nine states and Washington, D.C.
