Jay Krishnaswamy was appointed senior vice president and area manager of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente’s Central Valley Service Area, according to a May 4 health system news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Krishnaswamy most recently served as market CEO of Central Valley Doctors Health System in Modesto, Calif.
In his new role, he will oversee hospital operations and the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan for the Central Valley area. He succeeds Aphriekah DuHaney-West, who is now COO for Kaiser Permanente’s Northwest region.
Kaiser Permanente serves 12.6 million members in nine states and the District of Columbia.
