J.C. Blair Health System CEO to resign

Adam Dimm, president and CEO of Huntingdon, Pa.-based J.C. Blair Health System, is departing Aug. 1.

Mr. Dimm is resigning after a year in the role, which he assumed July 1, 2017. He has worked at J.C. Blair since 2014, after the health system became an affiliate of PinnacleHealth, now known as UPMC Pinnacle. He became J.C. Blair’s vice president and COO in January 2015.

Mr. Dimm is returning to Harrisburg, Pa.-based UPMC Pinnacle to serve as vice president of operations.

During his tenure as J.C. Blair’s CEO, Mr. Dimm oversaw construction of a heart catheterization lab as well as the expansion of the emergency department.

Joe Myers, executive vice president of J.C. Blair, will serve as interim administrator until a permanent successor is identified.
