Iowa’s Mercy Medical Center Names Interim CEO as Permanent Head

Trinity Health, parent company of Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa, has named Bob Peebles as the new president and CEO of Mercy, according to a report by the Sioux City Journal.

Mr. Peebles currently serves as interim CEO for the hospital. He replaced Paul Dougherty, who retired in May 2009.

Mr. Peebles has previously served as president of St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York and CEO of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, La. He holds a law degree from Michigan State/Detroit College of Law.
