Iowa’s Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center Names New CEO

Marshalltown (Iowa) Medical & Surgical Center has named Brian Burnside as its next CEO, according to a report by the Times-Republican.

Mr. Burnside is currently the CEO of Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa. He replaces Rob Cooper, who retired in Nov. 2009, according to the report.

Mr. Burnside previously served as COO of Moberly (Mo.) Regional Medical Center.

He will begin his new position in early April, according to the report.
