Kathy Moritz, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer at WinnMed, will retire on Nov. 25, Decorah News reported.
Ms. Moritz has had a 36-year nursing career and spent the last nine years as the Decorah, Iowa-based hospital’s CNO. Since becoming CNO, she has advanced patient care, supported nursing excellence and strengthened healthcare services.
“Nursing has been more than a profession for me; it has been a calling and a privilege,” she said. “I am deeply grateful for the relationships I have built throughout my career and especially for the opportunity to work with such talented and compassionate caregivers. I leave with immense pride in all we have accomplished together and confidence in the future of healthcare at WinnMed.”
