Interim CFO leaves Banner Health

Phoenix-based Banner Health’s interim CFO, Anthony Frank, has left the system to pursue a new role in New York, Banner said in a March 29 filing.

His role will be temporarily filled by the current vice president of strategy and planning, Dan Weinman, who has been with Banner for 24 years. A nationwide search is ongoing for a permanent replacement for Mr. Frank, who had been with Banner for four and a half years. 

“Banner’s breadth and depth in its financial and operations leadership teams will provide for a strong and smooth transition,” Banner said. 

Banner Health, a 32-hospital system, reported operating income of $16.6 million for the year ended Dec. 31.
