Integris names Intermountain Healthcare exec to top post: 4 things to know

Oklahoma City-based Integris Health, an eight-hospital system, selected Timothy Pehrson to serve as president and CEO, effective Aug. 1, according to a NewsOK report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Pehrson is currently regional vice president and CEO for the Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare’s north region as well as vice president of continuous improvement.

2. He has previous experience at United Healthcare and Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System.

3. He holds a master’s in health services administration degree from Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan.

4. Mr. Pehrson is the permanent successor to Bruce Lawrence, who retired at the end of 2017. Chris Hammes, the health system’s executive vice president and COO, took over as interim leader.
