Indiana Hospital CEO Announces Retirement

David Doerr, president and CEO of Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind., plans to retire effective June 1, 2011, according to a report in the Tribune-Star.

Mr. Doerr has been with the hospital since 1987 in various capacities and has overseen the largest expansion in the hospital’s history, according to the report.

The hospital board plans to name a search committee and select an executive search firm to find a new CEO, said John Lukens, chairman of the hospital board.
