CEO of Indiana’s Union Hospital Steps Down

David Doerr, president and CEO of Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind., has announced his resignation effective Sept. 1, according to a Tribune Star report.

Mr. Doerr announced his retirement effective June 1, 2011, in April. Hospital officials said the board has asked Mr. Doerr to consider a leadership role with UHS following his resignation from the CEO position.

Scott Teffeteller, currently Union Hospital COO, will serve as interim CEO while the board searches for a permanent leader.
