Vero Beach, Fla.-based Indian River Medical Center hired Linda Walton, MSN, RN, as CNO, according to a TC Palm report.

1. Ms. Walton most recently served as CNO at South Lake Hospital in Cleremont, Fla.
2. She also served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Nurse Corps.
3. She previously held management positions at several hospitals, including Columbus (Wis.) Community Hospital.
