Illinois hospital names CEO

Mike Cooper was named CEO of Fairfield (Ill.) Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Cooper will begin his new role on July 15, according to a hospital news release shared with Becker’s.

He brings more than three decades of healthcare experience to the position, including serving as CEO of Rush County Memorial Hospital in LaCrosse, Kan., since 2019, the release said. 

Mr. Cooper also previously served as CEO of Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford, Ind., and St. Benedict’s Family Medical Center in Jerome, Idaho.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with more than 400 employees, according to its website
