Here are four things to know:
1. Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System, the hospital’s parent, has not given a reason for Mr. Perryman’s departure.
2. Mr. Perryman had served at the helm of HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital since 2014.
3. Previously, he served as president and CEO of HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Ill.
4. E.J. Kuiper, president and CEO of the HSHS Central Division, will take over as interim CEO of HSHS St. Mary’s, until a permanent successor is named.
“We want to thank Dan for his 11 years of service to HSHS,” said Mr. Kuiper, according to a statement from HSHS.
