Henry Ford Allegiance Health CEO to retire next year: 4 things to know

Jackson, Mich.-based Henry Ford Allegiance Health President and CEO Georgia Fojtasek will retire in 2019, according to an MLive report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Ms. Fojtasek began working at the organization in 1989, when it was known as Foote Health System.

2. She has served as president and CEO of the health system for nearly 25 years.

3. During her tenure, the health system opened a new $45 million, 59,000-square-foot tower and expanded its cancer care services.

4. Ms. Fojtasek will continue in her current role until a successor is named next year.
