Hennepin Healthcare CEO Arthur Gonzalez Resigns

Arthur Gonzalez, CEO of Minneapolis-based Hennepin Healthcare System, which operates Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, has resigned to serve as CEO of Denver Health, according to a Star Tribune report.

Mr. Gonzalez came to Hennepin Healthcare in 2009, after leading Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif. As CEO of Hennepin, he oversaw the recent merger of Hennepin County Medical Canter and the physician group Hennepin Faculty Associates.

Board chairman David Jones will take over as interim CEO.
