HCA names CFO of Florida hospital

HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital has named Jordan Fulkerson CFO, effective Feb. 27.

Mr. Fulkerson joined Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA in 2018 as assistant CFO of HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. He was later promoted to assistant CFO of HCA Florida Largo Hospital and selected to participate in the HCA Healthcare Executive Development Program.

He began his hospital finance career at OSF Saint Luke Medical Center in Kewanee, Ill., where he served as an accountant for three years before being promoted to the director of patient financial services and health information management. He later became director of revenue cycle management at George E. Weems Memorial Hospital in Apalachicola, Fla., and was promoted to CFO two years later.

"Jordan has been a part of the HCA family for five years and has an excellent track record of financial expertise and success," Sally Seymour, CEO of HCA Florida St. Petersburg, said in a Feb. 27 news release. "His strong business acumen will be an invaluable asset to our hospital as we continue to serve the growing healthcare needs of the St. Petersburg community."
